Seven Boholanos pass bar exams

Three law schools in the city have six Boholanos added to the rooster of lawyers in the province which has produced two bar topnotchers in the past.

They were among the 1,126 passers (out of 5,984 takers)  who took the bar examination given by the Supreme Court last year of which the passing average was lowered from 75 to 73 per cent. The bar exams was said to be one of the toughest bar examination given by the Supreme Court. 

Holy Name University (HNU)  produced three new lawyers, University of Bohol with two and Bohol Institute of Technology-Intl College with one.

The HNU passers are Atty. Niel. Eric E. Ochoco of Corella town, Atty. Rex L. Solarte of Loon town and Atty. Ed Michael E. Supremo of this city. Ochoco and Supremo are sons of judges of the Municipal Trial Courts of Bohol.

The UB passers are  Atty. Hazel B. Nicolas of this city and Atty. Delanore del Rosario of Bien Unido town.

The lone successful barrister from BIT-IC is Atty. Loreto B. Doria,.

Another Boholano successful barrister is Atty Micahel Marloue Gorospe Uy who graduated from the University of the Philippines (UP).

Irene Mae Alcobilla of San Beda College topped the exam with a rating of 85.5 percent.

Other topnotchers are (2) Christina Drilon of the Ateneo de Manila University, (3) Sandra Mae Magalang of the University of the Phils. (4) Mark Leo Bejemino, UP; Gil Garcia of Ateneo de Davao and Reginald Laco of De La Salle -Lipa; (5) Micehlle Liao of the University of Cebu, (6) Jose Angelo David of San beda College, (7) Adrian Aumentado of San Beda College, (8) Rhey David Daway, UP (9) James Liz Yu, UP and (10) Tristan Matthew Delgado of Ateneo de Manila University.
