Jade Delusa, 32, one of the city’s top drug suspects, was apprehended in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Manga, Tagbilaran City at 9:30pm last night.
The younger Delusa was caught with an estimated 25 grams of shabu with a value of approximately P295,000 during the police operation conducted by a composite team of the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group and the Provincial Intelligence Branch.
In the search that ensued, the police team confiscated four big plastic sachets and 13 small plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, the 300 pesos used as marked money, and drug paraphernalia from Delusa.
The apprehending team, led by Senior Inspector Jojit Mananquil, conducted the operation under the direct supervision of Senior Superintendent Dennis Agustin, Bohol police chief.
Jade Delusa, also known as Boyet and a resident of Purok 2 of the said barangay, was monitored by the authorities beofre the arrest. (Willy Maestrado)
