A male alleged pusherÂ and his boyfriend were arrested in an anti-illegal drug operation in Ubay at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Ubay anti-narcotics policemen arrested 28-year-old Ruel Boiser, a makeup artist, at his residence in Purok 7, Brgy. Tapon in the said town.
Boiser was immediately arrested after he allegedly sold shabu worth P500 to an undercover police officer.
Police found in his possession two other packs of suspected shabu as they frisked him.
Also collared by operatives was Boiserâ€™s boyfriend, 20-year-old Dhann Magsalos, a resident of Brgy. Union, Ubay, who yielded two packs of suspected shabu.
According to Insp. Roland Desiree Lavisto, Ubay police chief, Boiser is a newly known drug personality in the municipality.
Lavisto said that some residents in the area have also complained about Boiserâ€™s scams made through his job as a makeup artist.
The two suspects are now detained at the Ubay police station pending the filing of charges against them for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Rey Tutas)
