PCSO to give ambulances to 8 Bohol towns

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) will be distributing ambulances to eight local government units in the province, said a Provincial Board (PB) member.

According to Board Member Ricky Masamayor, chair of the PB’s committee on peace and order and public safety, PCSO general manager Alexander Balutan will be arriving in Bohol on Friday to personally lead the official turnover of the vehicles.

The beneficiary towns include Clarin, Panglao, Baclayon, Loboc, Batuan, Mabini, Bien Unido and Candijay, said Masamayor.

PCSO, a government-owned and -controlled corporation, will be providing Foton brand ambulances.

The PB through Masamayor appealed before the PCSO central office for the hastened release of the ambulances which are needed in the said towns.

In April last year, the PCSO distributed ambulances to the towns of Alburquerque, Pilar, Valencia, Balilihan, Maribojoc, Antequera, Buenavista, Bilar, San Miguel, Inabanga, Sierra Bullones, Trinidad,Talibon and Loay. (Rey Tutas)
