A total of 14 suspected drug personalities were rounded up by police in Tagbilaran City and towns across the province in multiple anti-drug operations on Saturday and Sunday, according to police reports.

The resumption of the police’s crackdown on narcotics trade resulted in the arrest of Tagbilaran City traffic enforcer Victor Graciosa, 26, and his companion Reggie Milana, 24, on Saturday evening.

Both suspects were arrested along with three suspected drug users by Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) personnel of the Tagbilaran City police in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dao.

The alleged drug users were identified as Clifford Stephen Millana, 25; Marco Galinato, 25; and Julio Lim, 36.

Meanwhile, suspected drug dealers Albert Ardiente, 41, and Romel “Abloy” Bucio, 37, were arrested in buy-bust operations at Maribojoc and Dauis, respectively, police said.

Ardiente was collared at 9 p.m. while Bucio a noted dealer in Dauis was arrested at 10 p.m. in Barangay Mayacabac.

Police said that Bucio was caught in possession of shabu worth P10,000.

On Sunday, Alex Balatero, Romeo Siarot, Roel Calape and Alan Budlong were arrested in Valencia, Tubigon, Inabanga and Panglao, respectively, in anti-drug operations.

According to police, Sariot, a resident of Clarin, was arrested by Tubigon police’s DEU along with one John Paul Antigo who was allegedly in possession of shabu.

At 5 p.m. on the same day, policemen of the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) led by Sr. Insp. Jojit Manangil arrested two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation behind the Integrated Bus Terminal in Tagbilaran City.

The PIB identified the suspects as Marcial “JR” Sarayan, 23, and Romeo Lor, 45, both residents of Tagbilaran City.

Both suspects were allegedly caught in possession of seven small and two big packets of shabu which was estimated to be worth P6,500. (Allen Doydora)
