Two men including an alleged drug distributor were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation along Upper Calceta Street, Barangay Cogon in Tagbilaran City on Saturday morning.
Police identified the suspects as Dennis Oppus of Barangay Laya, Baclayon and Chris Wilbert Unahan, 42, of Upper Calceta.
According to SPO1 Jojo Hinlayagan of the Tagbilaran City police Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Oppus received the marked money in exchange for shabu which was handed over by Unahan to the poseur-buyer.

Unahan reportedly noticed that they transacted with an undercover cop prompting him to run towards a “kamalig” outhouse of his home.
Police eventually subdued the suspect after Unahan wrestled with arresting operatives near the makeshift house which is believed to be a drug den.
The DEU found drug paraphernalia inside the suspected drug den.

Meanwhile, Hinlayagan said that Oppus distributed illegal drugs in Baclayon and Tagbilaran City.
A total of 12 sachets of suspected shabu were retrieved from Oppus and Unahan. (Rey Tutas)
