Two of three drug suspects who allegedly escaped from an anti-drug operation on Monday are now in authorities’ custody amid a hot pursuit conducted by joint operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Tagbilaran Ciity Police Office (TCPO).

One suspect identified as Jeremias Cimafranca, 27, who is listed in the TCPO’s drug watch list was arrested just hours after reportedly escaping from the NBI during a drug buy-bust operation on Monday in Barangay Tiptip, Tagbilaran City.

In a report, police indicated that another of the three escapees voluntarily surrendered before TCPO police officer Sr. Insp. Erano Regidor on Tuesday morning.

Authorities identified the suspect as Roel Serrano, a 22-year-old resident of Barangay Tiptip.
