A 16-year-old male suspect who is listed in the Tagbilaran City Police Office’s (TCPO) drug watch list was arrested on Sunday evening.
The minor who was subjected to a sting operation at Cainget Drive in Booy, Tagbilaran City was allegedly caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to an undercover policeman.
In a report, the TCPO indicated that their operatives spotted the suspect peddling shabu as they trailed him in a monitoring operation.
This prompted the police led by Sr. Insp. Erano Regidor to conduct the buy-bust against the minor leading to the arrest.
As they took the suspect into custody, police allegedly found another packet of shabu and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Operatives only found out that the suspect was a minor after the arrest, police said.
According to Regidor, drug charges for sale and possession of illegal drugs will still be filed against the suspect despite his age. (WM)
