Two policemen of the Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) were given awards on Wednesday by the Philippine National Police (PNP) for their accomplishments as law enforcers.

PNP chief Director Gen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa personally awarded Sr. Insp. Norman Nuez and SPO4 Crisanto Bonghanoy Jr. with medals at a ceremony in Cebu City.

Bonghanoy was awarded for being the Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Operation while Nuez was recognized as the Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration.

Nuez was the police chief of Talibon while Bonghanoy is currently with the said municipality’s police force.

The awarding ceremony was held during the Police Regional Office 7’s commemoration of the 116th Police Service Anniversary this morning at the PRO Central Visayas headquarters in Cebu.

Dela Rosa was invited as guest of honor and speaker during the event wherein over 20 other policemen and police units were also accorded awards.
