A man was killed while another was injured following a road accident between two motorcycles in Tagbilaran City on Sunday evening.
Authorities identified the fatality as Jonathan Milla, a 39-year-old resident of Habitat Village in Barangay Bool in Tagbilaran City.
Milla on board his motorcycle reportedly collided head on against Bryan Daero, 20, of Barangay Nailo, Valencio, along Burgos Street at 9 p.m.
Authorities noted that Milla was on his way to Barangay Bool while Daero who was also driving a motorcycle was headed towards the opposite direction.
Both were allegedly speeding and were not wearing helmets when the accident happened.
They were then rescued by personnel of TARSIER 117 and rushed to a nearby hospital.
Milla, however, succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, Daero continued to be treated for his injuries and was already in stable condition. (ad)
