Police are now looking for a male suspect who allegedly grabbed the buttocks of a 21-year-old woman while she was walking along a street in Tagbilaran City at dawn on Sunday.
The victim, identified only as Kristine, an employee of a local bakery, was walking near the corner of Lamdagan and San Jose Streets in Barangay Cogon when the incident happened, police said.
According to Kristine, she just got off work at 4:30 a.m. and was heading towards her house when the lone motorcycle-riding suspect went near her and grabbed her buttocks.
The suspect then sped away after the groping incident, Kristine told authorities.
She also noted that she was unable to see the suspect’s plate number as he quickly fled.
An act of lasciviousness case will be filed against the suspect while investigators continue to conduct a probe on the incident, police said. (WM)
