A male German national was found dead inside his room at a resort in Panglao where he was checked in, police said.
According to PO1 Ligaya Tutor, the cadaver of Martin Neumair was found laid to its side on a bed on Wednesday morning.
A caretaker of the resort immediately notified the Panglao Police Station of Neumair’s death, said Tutor.
Authorities believe that Neumair suffered from a heart attack and was unable to get medical attention as he was alone in his room.
There were no indications of foul play behind the German’s death.
On January 17, another foreign national died of natural cause inside his temporary residence in Purok 6, Barangay Doljo in Panglao.
The fatality, identified as George Arnold Haslam, 79, died of complications due to pneumonia and diabetes. (AD)
