A self-confessed drug user survived a gun attack by still unidentified motorcycle-riding suspects who rode in tandem right outside a chapel in Baclayon at past midnight on Wednesday.

SPO2 Alexander Tubig of the Baclayon Police Station identified the victim as Geoffrey Gilay, 26, of Barangay Guiwanon in the said town.

According to Tubig, the victim was sitting on the front steps of a village chapel when the suspects suddenly passed by and the motorcycle passenger shot at him.

Gilay was able to run but the suspects followed and shot at him multiple times, Tubig said.
