A woman listed in the police’s drug watch list as a narcotics dealer was arrested along with three of her alleged buyers including a minor in an anti-drug operation in Tagbilaran City on Thursday night.
Police identified the suspect as Lea Castano, 47, of Barangay Poblacion 3 in Tagbilaran City.
According to authorities, Castano was arrested through a buy-bust operation.
She allegedly sold shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer while she and her companions yielded illegal drugs with an estimated street value of P15,000.
Castano’s alleged buyers, Joseph Geneston, Harren Lumontad and the minor, who were with her during the operation were also taken into police custody.
Plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu were also found in their possession, police said.
All four suspects are now detained at the Tagbilaran City police lock-up facility.
Castano will be charged for sale of illegal drugs while the three other suspects will face criminal complaints for possession and use of illegal drugs and paraphernalia (Sections 11, 12 and 15 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). (wm)
