Two motorcycle drivers were injured after their motorcycles collided and exploded at a sharp curve along a barangay road in Panglao.
According to PO3 Rey Tagaan of the Panglao Police Station, the two motorcycles figured in a head-on collision at past 12 p.m. on Thursday.
The victims were identified as Jason Legazpi of Barangay Poblacion, Panglao and Judy Cloma of Barangay Duljo of said town.
Based on initial police investigation, Legazpi was making a sharp turn when he accidentally slammed into Cloma in a narrow road in Barangay Poblacion.
Tagaan said that Legazpi’s motorcycle was the first to explode following the collision, but as the vehicle caught fire, the blaze spread to Cloma’s motorcycle.
Legazpi and Cloma were rushed to a hospital where they continued to be treated for their injuries.
Authorities later confirmed that both victims were already in stable condition. (A. Doydora)
