“Aris” closes doors on gubernatorial bid

Rep. Aris Aumentado time and again has declared he will not run for governor in the 2019 elections.

The 40-year-old solon issued the statement anew to end rumors on his “secret” plans to run for governor.

“I will end my last term as congressman in the second district,” Aumentado said

Meanwhile, names surfaced as probable bets for the Provincial Board race who will be running under the administration ticket.

In the first district, rumored to run for board member are Donald Sevilla, former city Councilor Lucille Lagunay and Leah Tirol-Magno while in the second district are re-electionist Board Member Tommy Abapo, Jr. and Philippine Councilors’ League-Bohol president Board Member Gementiza.

For the third district: re-electionist Board Member Victor Balite, Board Member Elpidio Jala and Atty. Aldhous Castanares.

Also under the administration slate is Vice Gov. Dionisio Balite who announced his bid for congressman in the third district.
