Police on Monday night arrested two alleged drug dealers in a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City.
The two suspected drug peddlers, identified as Arnold Bongay, 24, and Gemon Dalogdog,31, were allegedly caught red-handed selling shabu to an undercover police officer along Benigno Aquino, Jr. Street in Barangay Cogon. At 8:30 p.m.
Police allegedly seized from both men 2.1 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P25,000.
According to Tagbilaran City police chief Supt. Patricio Degat, Bongay previously surrendered under Oplang Tokhang but continued involvement in the illegal drug trade.
Both Bongay and Dalogdog were charged with violation of the Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (wm)
