Rep. Art Yap and Rep. Rene Relampagos emerged as Boholanos’ better preference to be the next governor and vice governor, respectively, of the province.
This was evident during a random radio survey conducted by top-rated “Inyong Alagad” of dyRD last Wednesday.
The survey was conducted a week after gubernatorial bet, resigned Cabinet Sec. Leoncio Evasco, Jr. was personally endorsed by Pres. Rodrigo Duterte during his speech delivered at the Army camp in Carmen town attended by the few enlisted men.
From the 190 phone calls received during the two-hour survey , Yap pooled 67% against Evasco’s 33% . In the vice gubernatorial race, Relampagos garnered 65% against Board Member Tommy Abapo, Jr.,’s 35%.
Majority of the respondents came from Tagbilaran City and Maribojoc town.
Other respondents came from the towns of Alburquerque, Dauis, Panglao, Loon, Loay, Corella, Duero, Danao, Baclayon, Sikatuna, Sagbayan, Balilihan, Buenavista, Loboc, Cortes, Guindulman, Jagna, Anda, Bilar, Calape, Candijay, Tubigon, Pilar, San isidro and Getafe.
