A chef of a hotel in Tagbilaran City was arrested by police for alleged sale of illegal drugs in Panglao on Tuesday.
Police said that 42-year-old Christopher Durante, a native of Gumian, Quezon and a temporary resident of Barangay Taloto, Tagbilaran City, sold shabu worth P500 to a poseur-buyer leading to his immediate arrest.
Operatives also allegedly confiscated from Durante P2,500 worth of shabu.
According to authorities, the anti-drug police team led by Sr. Inspector Neon Alvarez carried out the operation in Barangay Tawala after receiving a report on illegal drug activity in the area.

Police are set to file charges against Durante for sale and possession of illegal drugs. (wm)
