The Department of Education (DepEd) in Bohol confirmed on Wednesday morning that there have been no cancellation of classes as Tropical Storm Falcon, which has been enhancing the southwest monsoon, moves further to the northern region of the country.

DepEd has not called for class suspensions while school district supervisors have not reported localized cancellation of classes in the towns and barangays, said the department’s local School Governance and Operations Division chief Desiderio Deligero.

According to Deligero, there have been no reported flooding and landslides, which are the usual causes for officials to declare localized class suspensions, in the towns and even in far-flung villages.
