The radio survey was conducted as the gubernatorial post will be left open for a new governor since Gov. Edgar Chatto is now serving his last term as chief executive of the province.

During the same survey, Chatto emerged as the most sought-after figure to run for congressman in the first district, the post to be left vacant by Relampagos.

For the congressional seat of the third district which will likewise be vacant, the names of Conchita Toribio, Board Member Alexie Tutor, former Loboc Mayor Leon Calispusan and Jagna Mayor Vic Abrenilla emerged as probables to run for the post.

Rep. Yap is serving his last term as 3rd district congressman.
