A man who was shot dead on Tuesday in Inabanga may have been killed over his purported involvement in a love triangle, a police source said today. The love triangle angle surfaced after investigators received information indicating that victim Ramon Amoren Jr, a married resident of Brgy. Nahawan, Clarin, may have had an affair with a woman who was in a relationship with another man.

However, police did not identify the woman involved but noted that they are monitoring the movements of her boyfriend.

Amoren was shot multiple times at 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

He was hit in the chest and other parts of his body resulting in his instantaneous death.

Police said that Amoren was attending a fiesta dinner at his aunt’s home and was shot immediately as he went outside the house.

The victim reportedly crawled towards said house but was followed by the assailant and finished off with another gunshot. (Allen Doydora)
