A couple suspected of running an illegal drug business was arrested by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Tagbilaran City on Tuesday.
The PDEA agents collared Paul Garson, 36, and live-in partner Lovely Salvador, 23, residents of Brgy. Manga, Tagbilaran City, in a buy-bust operation.
Both suspects were reportedly spotted by a PDEA agent while they Â were selling illegal drugs at around 3 p.m.
This prompted the anti-illegal drugs agency to set up the sting operation.
The couple allegedly sold shabu worth P1,000 to an undercover agent during the operation which led to their immediate arrest.
According to PDEA provincial officer Fernando Kintanar, the suspects are listed in their watchlist of drug personalities and have been continuing their illegal drug operations.
Garson and Salvador are now detained at Camp Dagohoy pending the filing of drug charges against them. (Weli Maestrado)
