New Tagbilaran City Police Station chief Supt. Rene Kyamko paid a courtesy call on Mayor Baba Yap on Wednesday.

Kyamko was the chief of the Bohol police Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) before taking over the helm of the TCPS.

He was also previously assigned at the Criminal Investigation Group 7 regional office in Cebu.

Kyamko will be replacing Supt. Patricio Degay who was named chief of the TCPS after former station commander Supt. Nicomedes Olaivar was reassigned to Sultan Kudarat late March.
