Police anti-drug ops yield P363-K ‘shabu’

Police on Friday afternoon seized in Tagbilaran City suspected shabu worth P363,500, the largest drug haul confiscated in a single anti-narcotics operation in the province this month.

Joint police operatives of the Provincial Public Safety Company and the province’s anti-drug unit allegedly seized the shabu from Epijemo “Longlong” Arayan, a resident of Maribojoc.

The shabu which was contained in one sachet and one large pack weighed 30.9 grams, police said.

Authorities took Arayan into custody following the operation at 12 p.m. along Pamaong Private Road in Barangay Cogon while his “cohort” was also arrested in the same village two hours prior.

Suspect Cresinti “Enting” Dogoy was collared after he was allegedly caught in the act of selling shabu in a drug buy-bust.

The sting operation led by SPO1 Justeofino Hinlayagan was conducted at 10:30 a.m. along CPG North Ave. in Tagbilaran City.

Dogoy, a resident of Mahayag Norte, Catigbian, was also allegedly in possession of eight pieces small long heat-sealed sachets containing suspected shabu.

On Thursday, police seized shabu worth P263,000 in an anti-drug operation along Gasanai Rd., Barangay Cogon in Tagbilaran City.

The drugs were allegedly confiscated from a man included in the city police’s watch list of top ten alleged drug personalities identified as Michael Adorable, a resident of Purok 4, Brgy. Booy.
