Two suspected drug dealers were arrested in separate anti-narcotics operations carried out by police in Ubay.

The suspects identified as Rex Boyles, 31, and Kenny Olader Yana, 31, both Ubay residents, were collared in two buy-bust operations conducted within a span of 10 hours.

In a report, police indicated that Boyles was arrested at 5 a.m. on Wednesday after selling shabu to a police poseur-buyer.

He was caught in possession of 11 packets of suspect shabu, police said.

At 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Yana was also allegedly caught red-handed selling suspected shabu to an undercover police officer.

Yana was reportedly in possession of another packet of shabu while the motorcycle he was using during the operation was taken into police custody.

According to police, Yana did not surrender under Oplan Tokhang.

Both suspects are now detained at the Ubay police jail while authorities are set to file illegal drug charges against them. (AD)
