The big sale is still going at Island City Mall as today is the last day of the 3-Day Sale, where discounts of up to 70% are given away on great selections at the Home & Fashion Department and participating tenant shops.
As part of the sale, young Kapamilya star Paul Salas performed yesterday afternoon before screaming fans at the Activity Center. Paul is one of the 14 finalists of GMA’s reality-based talent show “StarStruck Kids.”
As an alumnus of the show, he was cast to play roles in numerous GMA’s Philippine primetime soap operas such as “Mulawin,” “Encantadia,” and “Majika.”
His biggest acting break was in 2004, when he played the role of Ricky in the Joven Tan’s horror film “Forever My Love”.
He later appeared in the second episode “Aquarium” of the horror film “Shake, Rattle and Roll” 2015, where he was recognized as the Best Child Performer of the 31st Metro manila Film Festival. He also appeared in stage plays “Lilo and Stitch“ and “Sesame street”.
At the start of 2008, he moved to ABS-CBN and cast to play Uragon in a live action fantasy series “Kung Fu Kids.” Following this, he appeared in as a young version of the main casts of various television series.
Another event during the sale was the “Gaya-Gaya Pa More” Impersonation Contest yesterday afternoon at 3:00 o’ clock at the Activity Center where the Top 5 winning impersonators are Michael Jackson, Yoyoy Villame, Madonna, Michael Bolton, and Noven Belleza.
