The Borja Family Hospital was temporarily closed while patients and hospital personnel were immediately evacuated following a reported bomb threat at the health facility on Tuesday afternoon.
Evacuation of everyone inside the hospital including cleft-lipped patients of an ongoing surgical mission inside the facility was enforced at past 3 p.m.
According to Bohol Provincial Police director Sr. Supt. Felipe Natividad, the hospital received a call from an unidentified man who was speaking in Filipino warning personnel of a bomb inside the structure.
Hospital officials then called the police who immediately deployed operatives as response to the bomb threat.
Patients were first evacuated before clearing operations were conducted while a segment of the Gallares Street near the hospital was closed, said Natividad.
However, no explosive devices were found inside the hospital after operatives with bomb-sniffing dogs scoured the facility in two separate clearing operations.

The operation was led by an Explosive Ordnance Division from Cebu which was deployed in Bohol for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations meeting in Panglao.
At around 5 p.m., patients were reportedly allowed to reenter the hospital.
A surgical mission, organized by the Philippine Gift Of Life Inc., was being conducted for patients with cleft lip and palate when the evacuation was ordered. (Allen Doydora)
