A 28-year-old woman lost her belongings which were kept inside her shoulder bag to a still unidentified male robber who held her at gunpoint in Tagbilaran City on Wednesday night.
Authorities identified the victim as Manilyn Pahang, a resident of Barangay Bool in Tagbilaran City.
Pahang told police that she was on her way home from work near the old Blood Compact Shrine when the suspect who was sitting on a parked motorcycle pulled out his gun and pointed it at her.
The suspect then declared a robbery threatening her that he would shoot her if she screamed, Pahang said.
The alleged robber grabbed her shoulder bag and immediately fled the area on board the parked motorcycle.
According to Pahang, the stolen bag contained two cellphones of LG and Samsung brands, clothes and important documents.
Meanwhile, the Tagbilaran City Police Station’s theft and robbery section has been tasked to conduct a follow-up investigation on the case. (W. Maestrado)
