Three men were killed after two motorcycles figured in a head-on collision in Loay on Sunday evening, police said.
PO2 Felix Cajaro of the Loay Police Station identified the drivers of the motorcycles who both died as Neil Budiongan, 27, of Loboc and Rico Pamaylaon, 21, of Loay.
Pamayloan had a passenger, 19-year-old Loay resident Glen Patayon, who was also killed during the accident.
According to Cajaro, Budiongan was heading towards Jagna when Pamaylaon who was driving towards the opposite direction attempted to overtake another vehicle.
Pamayloan reportedly crossed over to the opposite lane and slammed straight into Budiongan causing both motorcycles to crash.
Both drivers died on the spot, Cajaro said.
Meanwhile, Patayon was still rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
