Eighteen-year-old Raclare Stephan Trigo was crowned Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2018 during the pageant’s coronation night at the Bohol Wisdom School in Tagbilaran City on Friday.
The lass from Barangay San Isidro, Tagbilaran City impressed the judges with consistency and wit throughout the competition.
Reaping most of the major awards, Trigo, a student of University of Bohol was adjudged Best in Talent, Best in Swimsuit, Miss Photogenic, Miss Cignal, Miss Bohol Tropics and best in Gown.
Barangay.Booy’s Dann Audrey Cadenas was first runner-up, grabbing the Miss Smart Communications followed by barangay Ubujan’s Rueggy Mae Namoc as second runner-up.
Barangay Manga’s Lady Aira Lumantas was third runner-up, and barangay Poblacion Dos’ Margarett Requillo was fourth runner-up and best in Casual Interview.
Other winners of the minor awards are Kate Gabriel Alemania of barangay Cogon who was adjudged Miss Congeniality, while Qeen Gillie Maglahus of barangay Bool was Best in Production Number.
Barangay Cabawan’s Carl Joellie Tentativa was adjudged Miss Globe and Miss Renaissance Spa.
Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell Yap II expressed elation and gratitude for the barangay officials for their cooperation even as he welcomed the VIPs, including Presidential son Baste Duterte and Miss Philippines-Universe Catriona Gray as members of the board of judges.
The mayor was with his better half Jane and their daughter all throughout the pageant.
The pageant was hosted by actress Iza Calzado and Tim Yap. (with reports from RVO)
