A 27-year-old man who had recently graduated from a college in Tagbilaran City was arrested by intelligence officers of the Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) on Tuesday afternoon.
Police identified the alleged pusher as Daren Diliman, 27, of Barangay Cabicnitan in Batuan, who recently earned a maritime degree.
In a report, authorities said that Diliman was collared through a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion III.
Dilimian allegedly sold shabu to an undercover cop resulting in his immediate arrest.
According to police, the operation against Diliman yielded 7.9 grams of shabu which were estimated to be worth P53,720 based on the value set by the Dangerous Drugs Board.
The operation against Diliman was set in motion after he was allegedly spotted selling shabu along F. Rocha Street in Barangay Poblacion III.
Diliman was detained at the Tagbilaran City Police Station lock-up facility while authorities prepared to file charges against him for violations against Section 5 and Section 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (wm)
