Comelec: know your voter, precinct numbers ahead of polls

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Bohol reminded registered voters to start visiting polling centers to identify their voting precincts ahead of the May 13 polls.

Montoya urged voters not to wait for Election Day for them to identify their precinct and voter’s number to lessen congestion at the polling centers.

“Inig election, likayan unta nato na magtapok ta didto sa blackboard aron ukay-ukayon naton og asa atong ngan ug asa ta na presinto. Kung nakahibaw nata daan unsa atong voter number ug nasayod na ka unsa ka nasakop na clustered precinct mo dretso na ka sa room,” he said.

According to Montoya, polling centers will be open at 6:a.m. to 6 p.m. for the public to cast their votes on Election Day.

There will be no more time extensions for the allocated voting period, he added.

Montoya noted that smooth operations during the elections will ensure that all registered voters will be able to vote.

(A. Doydora)
