A man suspected of peddling shabu was arrested following two anti-drug operations against him wherein he managed to escape from police in the first one on Thursday but was eventually cornered today in Brgy. Bool, Tagbilaran City.

According to authorities, suspect Efren Castro, a resident of Espuelas St., Tagbilaran City, was caught in possession of shabu worth P590,000 in the sting operation at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

During the bust, the suspect still reportedly managed to evade arresting police on board a motorcycle but was eventually caught at an under construction road along Dangoy St. in Purok 7, Barangay Bool.

Anti-narcotics operatives of the Tagbilaran City police led by Sr. Insp. Erano Regidor then reportedly confiscated from the suspect a bag containing 50 grams of suspected shabu.
