Drug suspect Lloyd Bacule looks on as authorities conduct an inventory of confiscated substances believed to be illegal drugs while members of the PPSC-SWAT stand guard.

A suspected drug dealer was arrested by joint operatives of Camp Dagohoy’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team and Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC) in Tagbilaran City on Wednesday.

Suspect Lloyd Bacule, 26, was allegedly caught in the act of selling shabu to a police poseur-buyer during the operation led by PPSC and SWAT chief Supt. Patricio Degay.

Prior to the arrest at 10 p.m., Bacule was reportedly seen selling illegal drugs in front of Lite Port in Poblacion 2 by authorities conducting monitoring operations.

The operatives allegedly caught Bacule in possession of 10 packets of shabu with an estimated street value of P10,000.

Police also confiscated the buy-bust money and suspected drug trade paraphernalia while the inventory of seized items was witnessed by barangay officials and members of media.

Bacule is currently jailed at Camp Dagohoy’s detention facility pending the filing of charges against him. (Allen Doydora)
