Devotees troop as if it was their last time to venerate the image of “Birhen sa Simala” inside the St. Joseph Cathedral. Hundreds troop to welcome the image Monday evening as shown in the left photo. A farewell mass will be officiated at 10:30 this morning by Msgr. Jeffrey Malanog, vicar general of the Diocese of Tagbilaran and parish priest of the St. Joseph Cathedral. The mass will be carried live over dyRD-AM. The image will be brought back to Simala in Cebu after the Holy Mass.
