The display of various goods at the Trade Expo will open this morning at The Block at the Island City Mall.
DTI Regional Director Aster Caberte told The Chronicle that some 100 exhibitors will showcase the various items for the Boholanos to appreciate the locally made products, not just from Bohol from other nearby regions. She said that excellent furniture will be the latest addition to the items sold at the Trade Expo.
The products include food items, fashion, decors, jewelry, guitars, wellness products, hamdicrafts and other items.
From Bohol are the famous loom weaving products from Tubigon and Clarin towns.
DTI Director Caberte said that last year’s Trade Expo generated no less than P5 million in sales. This year, she expects the same or even more revenues as brisk sales are expected with balikbayans among those expected to shop at the Trade Expo.
