Some 27 passengers of an ill-fated pumpboat bound for Cebu, from Bohol, were rescued alive by a passing Cokaliong Lines vessel at mid-sea between Cebu and Bohol yesterday afteroon. Strong winds and waves battered the pumpboat due to typhoon Lando. The passengers were already floating when the vessel’s captain spotted them.
