For the first time, a flea market-inspired event will showcase arts and crafts during a two-day event at the Panglao Plaza.

Dubbed as “Panglao Weekend Bazaar,” the event will likewise showcase processed food and ornamental while a fusion of food from the various resorts in Panglao will highlight the bazaar this coming Saturday and Sunday.

DTI Regional Director Aster Caberte said the bazaar is a celebration of a “global community” which will highlight the best products produced in the province as well as in the other provinces in Central Visayas.

“Panglao Weekend Bazaar” is a joint project of the Panglao Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Department of Trade and Industry in cooperation with the provincial government and the Panglao local government unit.
