MISDEAL. Suspected pushers of shabu to students in the city, Alberto Dahab Jr. and Benedicto Olaso III, thought it was another deal only to realize they were dealing with the NBI team. And, so they bumped on the dead end.

Suspected drug runners victimizing students fell in the hands of authorities as the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) took another swipe at the underground illegal drugs trade in the city.

In a separate incident, a jail officer in Talibon caught a widow trying to sneak a sachet of shabu while visiting an inmate.

In Tagbilaran City, the arrest of two suspected drug pushers came following an intelligence report about two persons involved in peddling shabu to students of Holy Spirit School and Philippine Martime Institute (PMI).

Acting on the classified information, the Bohol team of the NBI conducted a series of surveillance and test-buy operations.
