The province is just perfect for the filming of “Enting Kabisote 10 and the Abangers”, according to Director Tony Reyes as the four-day shoot of the movie wraps up yesterday with almost twenty percent of the movie being shot entirely in the province.
“It’s our first time in Bohol, we were able to explore more and it’s amazing. Compared to other locations kung saan puro beaches or diving lang, dito wala ka nang hahanapin - you got the view, the river, the hills and beaches.â€
“We went to the Chocolate Hills, Loboc River, the Tarsier (sanctuary), Bohol Beach Club, Amarela Resort, BeeFarm, Bluewater Panglao, and also had a shoot at the Tagbilaran City airport.â€
Intended for inclusion in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers is the tenth installment in the Okay Ka, Fairy Ko!/Enteng Kabisote film franchise that stars veteran actor comedian Vic Sotto. Â
Sparking fan excitement for the movie is the special participation of Aldub, the phenomenal love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, who’s been posting lovely beach photos taken in Panglao to the delight of her more than three million social media followers.
Director Tony Reyes also expects to pique people’s interest on what the island has to offer; such that after watching the film, movie goers may say: “Wow, ganito pala kaganda ang Bohol!â€
He has all admiration not only for the place but the all-out support extended for their shoot in the province.  “Napaka swerte namin… When I go back to Manila, I’ll tell everyone to go to Bohol. Good thing is that we had been supported 101% by Bohol Gov. Edgar M. Chatto, the LGU officials, and the Bohol Tourism Office.â€
He also revealed that his crew was able to get great aerial shots of Bohol’s tourist spots and he hopes to leave a copy of the video with Governor Chatto.
