A man reported to the Tagbilaran City police that a woman working as a guest relations officer stole his cash on Sunday.
Victim Will (not his real name), a married resident of Barangay Poblacion I in Tagbilaran City, told police that he checked in at Fely’s Pension House with the suspect.
The alleged thief, who only identified herself as Liza, agreed to offer services to Will and stay with him inside the pension house for three hours in exchange for P200 per hour.
According to Will, he handed over the money to Liza prior to when services were offered.
However, once she got the chance, Liza dashed towards the door and ran away with the cash.
Liza claimed to be a resident of Loon town, Will said.
Personnel of the city police’s theft and robbery section have been tasked to investigate the case. (WM)
