Parlor beautician falls in Tagbilaran drug bust

An employee of a beauty parlor in Tagbilaran City was arrested by police after allegedly selling illegal drugs to an undercover police operative on Monday afternoon.

Kent Llana, 47, a beautician, was taken into police custody after he allegedly sold shabu worth P500 to a poseur-buyer during a drug buy-bust operation.

He was spotted selling drugs near his residence along J.S. Torralba Street by operatives of the Tagbilaran City police intelligence section prior to the sting operation, authorities said.

Police allegedly found in his possession five more packets of suspected shabu.

Llana remained detained at the Tagbilaran City Police Station lock-up jail pending the filing of drug charges against him.

He will be charged with possession of illegal drugs and sale of illegal drugs, a non-bailable offense. (wm)
