Police teams continued making rounds to rid the towns of alleged drug personalities in the watchlist even during the observation of the Holy Week.

In a recent buy-bust operation in the town of Candijay, the Municipal Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operations Group arrested one Roy dela Torre and one Arlan Dahay in barangay Tugas.

The police team, led by Police Inspector Gerald Luna, confiscated one small sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu in exchange of P500 used as marked money.

Other items seized from Dela Torre and Dahan included five medium packs and one big pack of crystalline substance believed to be shabu, the buy-bust money, and several drugs parhernalia.

Luna’s team conducted the buy-bust in coordination with PDEA-Bohol.

In Dauis, a joint operation of the Provincial Intelligence Branch and the municipal police, led by Senior Inspector Caesar Acompañado, implemented a search warrant against one Edwin Tubio at around 9 a.m on April 1 in sitio San Perdo of barangay Bingag.

Items confiscated included seven small plastic packs containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with estimated market value of P3,500 pesos, four live full metal jacket of caliber .45 ammunitions and assorted drug paraphernalia.
