bo_ossowski_1German Ambassador to the Philippines Thomas Ossowski will be arriving herel tomorrow for a five-day visit to promote closer friendly ties between Germany and the Philippines, more specifically, with the Boholanos.

Provincial Government officials to be led by Gov. Edgar M. Chatto will be at the Tagbilaran City airport to bestow planeside honors to His Excellency.

Amb. Ossowski would then proceed to the Governor’s Mansion for a viewing of exhibits of German-funded projects, a powerpoint presentation on German-Bohol Partnership and Initiatives and to have an interaction with Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) officials, Cluster Heads, business and private sectors on Germany’s partnership for growth.

After having lunch with the governor and other guests, Amb. Ossowski would then proceed to the marine protected area in Bingag, Dauis and then to the Waterless Sanitation Project a.k.a. waterless toilet in Tangnan, Panglao.

The party would continue on to the PROGED Project at Bellevue Hotel, still in Panglao, before proceeding to a cocktail and dinner get-together at the Peacock Garden Poolside with the German Community and PGBh officials.

Tuesday for the Ambassador would be a guided tour to the world-famous Chocolate Hills to be followed by a sumptuous lunch and the ride much-craved for by tourists, the Loboc River Cruise.

Here in Bohol not only for official functions but also for much-needed personal time, Amb. Ossowski has earlier requested that he be left to his own personal devices for the rest of his stay in the province to be able to savor all the more his much-needed vacation and to be able to quench his thirst for adventure and savor the tranquility and breathtaking beauty of a paradise existing here on earth; that is, Bohol. German projects in Bohol are shown to the German Ambassador. But our partners of health projects and projects for typhoon victims are harrassed by military and authorities in Bohol. Thus the projects of Task Force Carabao Germany (Aktion Wasserbueffel e.V.) are impeded

For Boholanos to appreciate the Projects of Gov. Chatto as Governor and Former Congressman,
He has to show where these projects are implemented and how much those projects cost.
Why the German funded projects are completed and shown while local/national projects can’t?
For the 3 terms of the Former Congressman. The PDAF at P70M/year translate to bigger development
for the 1st District of Bohol.
