The brilliance of the Boholanos was again proven as five young graduates landed in the top 10 board topnotchers in nursing and teachers licensure examinations.

In nursing, Euben Hope Olaso Gamutan of the University of Bohol (UB) ranked 5th with a rating of 85% while Krissa Mae Duco Lapiz of Holy Name University (HNU) landed 6th with 84.80%.

They were among the 9,707 new nurses who passed the board, out of 17,891 who took the licensure test.

Meanwhile, in Teachers Board Exam, three Boholanos landed in the top 10, two from Holy Name University (HNU) and one fro9m the Bohol Island State University (BISU).

The topnotchers are: Flora Mae Macabenta Batausa of HNU who  ranked 5th with a rating of 87.40%, Mary Ann Jamago Madrona of BISU ranked 6th with 87.20% and Jofel Maleza Butron of HNU ranked 9th with a rating of 86.60%.
