Another suspected drug personality in Panglao yielded almost P1-million worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation recently.
Elements of the Municipal Anti-Illegal Drugs Operation Task Group of Panglao arrested one Ramil Paculba, also known as Aming, a 41-year-old suspected drug pusher during a buy-bust operation at around 3 p.m. on July 29 in barangay Danao, Panglao.
The police team, led by Panglao chief of police, Chief Inspector Joemar Pomarejos, confiscated one small sachet of suspected shabu which was the subject of the buy-bust operation and the 500-peso-bill used as marked money from Paculba.
In the frisk that followed, the police team confiscated one large pack of suspected shabu with estimated weight of around 50 grams and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested was Paculbaâ€™s alleged cohort identified as one Leonard Hora, also known as Nardo, 24 years old.
The cohort was caught in the possession of two medium-size sachet of suspected shabu and one sachet of suspected shabu with estimated weight of more than 10 grams.
The total estimated value of all the packs of shabu confiscated during the operation had been placed at P708,000.
