Top projects were officially endorsed to the Regional Development Council (RDC).
Endorsed to the Regional Development Council during the meeting on Wednesday were: the Provincial Commodity Investment Plan for seaweeds and native chicken under the Philippine Rural Development Program; feasibility study and construction of foot bridges in Tagbilaran City: Bohol Wisdom School, BQ mall, HNU, and BISU as changes in the DPWH PPAPs; and the construction of Offshore bridge connecting Tagbilaran City and Panglao phase 1; Also endorsed to the RDC were the Reclustering for bulk water supply project; establishment of Medical tourism zone in Cortes where the new Gallares Hospital will be located; feasibility study for the construction of wastewater treatment facility in Panglao under JICA; feasibility studies for the road network at Plaza Rizal/New Bohol Museum/Provincial Capitol, road infrastructure to decongest traffic at JA Clarin leading to ICM and to the new Provincial Capitol, and the construction of a fourth bridge connecting Bool to Dauis; and 24 provincial road projects under the DTI Roads Leveraging Linkages for Industry and Trade or ROLL IT program.
