Sixteen Boholanos were listed as among the country’s new physicians after passing the 2017 licensure examination adminstered by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) last Sept. 9, 10, 16 and 17 in various testing centers in the country.

The results were released four days after the last examination.

The new Boholano doctors are Dr. Jo Michael Malanog-Maniwan, Dr. Marvin Gabo, Dr. Pacheco Romero, Jr., Dr. Marvin Tindoy, Dr. Sheikh Saturinas, Dr. April Mae Gonzales, Dr. Venus Lyra Iyo, Dr. Czar Nicolo Garcia, Dr. Angel Stephanie Ando Galorio, Dr. Apple M. Liao, Dr. Ronald Andrew C. Mijares, Dr. Christine Veloso Bompat, Dr. Kinsley Marie G. Serencio, Dr. Jabez Pizarras Tunacao, Dr. Guiseppe Inno Arabejo, Dr. Johara Marie Du and Dr. Joseph Dan Bullecer.

Dr. Maniwan and Dr, Garcia graduated from the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, the same school where this year’s board topnotcher completed his medical studies.

Vincent Edouard Anthony Retardo Gullas from University of Santo Tomas (UST) topped the board with 90.50%.

He was followed by Jan David Choa Monzon and Robert Carandang Rena both from De La Salle University (DLSU) – Health Sciences Institute garnering 90.08%.

The successful examinees who garnered the ten highest places are the following:
