Engr. Allen Christian Varquez of Loboc River Resort was elected as the new president of the Bohol Association of Hotels, Resorts, Restaurants, Inc. (BAHRR)
He succeeded Bellevue Resort Manager Rommel Gonzales who was elected as executive vice president.
Other elected officers were Angeli Uy of Belian Hotel, VP-hotels; Andrew Fernandez of Eskaya Resort, VP-resorts; Engr. Arnold Labunog of Painitan Bolanon, VP-restaurants; Joseph Lim of Hotel La Roca, VP- external; Judith Bomediano of Villa Alzhun Tourist Inn, secretary; Teresita Sumampong of Cusina ni Tisay, treasurer; Pamela Gallardo of El Portal Inn, auditor.
Elected as members of the board were Rachelle Sombrio of Panda Tea Suites, Trinidad Mercado of Chriscent Ville Pension House, Marieta Gasatan of South Palms, Fausto Astronomo of Metro Center Hotel, Eduardo Anecito of Henann Resort, Allan Santos of Bohol Beach Club and Marina Codina of Kew Hotel.
The BAHRR officers were inducted into office by Gov. Edgar Chatto at the Belian Hotel last week.
